The experience in Kansas City promises to be extraordinary, especially with the World Series happening at the same time. The atmosphere will be bracing. So will the workshops, tours, papers, and especially the conversations and interactions between everyone sharing in the experience.
There will be too much going on for any ten people to take in so we are asking you to help share your experience by submitting short pieces to be posted on the APT Blog. http://www.apti.org/index.php?submenu=blog&src=blog
You can write about whatever strikes you: an informative lecture; an inspiring field session; fabulous meals; grat conversations with old or new friends; or anything else that captures the conference experience. The posts can be as long or as short as you like and can include images, which should be .jpg files no larger than about 350kb.
Blog posts will benefit people who are unable to attend, but will also fill in conference attendees on what transpired in other venues or other paper sessions. We all know how frustrating it is to have to pick between sessions. Informative blog posts could ease some of that frustration by reporting on the papers you weren’t able to hear.
So please enhance the conference experience for all by sending your posts in an email, preferably during the conference, to: firstname.lastname@example.org with the title of the post and your name.
