WASHINGTON, D.C., CHAPTER

Founded in 1980, the Washington, D.C., Chapter of APT offers a very active calendar of events designed to address preservation issues, share resources, advocate partnerships, and provide access to some of the more interesting historic sites in and around the Greater Washington area. The chapter has organized and sponsored several national conferences and symposia for the benefit of preservation practitioners from many disciplines. Other chapter events include monthly tours, a summer picnic, and a holiday party and annual meeting in December. The chapter welcomes new members and their guests to all of its activities.
