WESTERN CHAPTER

Active since 1983, APT's Western Chapter was created to serve as a regional forum for preservation practitioners in Arizona, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Nevada. With approximately 150 members, the chapter has sponsored many events, including conferences on concrete and on retrofit work for seismic-resistant upgrades, a symposium on disaster response, and many lectures and tours. The chapter served as the organizing committee for APT's annual meeting in 1985, as well as for the APT 2001 annual conference at Asilomar in Monterey, California.

Membership to the Western Chapter is automatic with APT membership.
