Three ink sketches, matted, 16" x 20" (eached valued at $250)
|
$ 750 |
| David's drawings are not intended as 'art' but as a way to remember and understand places. As John Ruskin said, '(they)describe things I love, (and are done) not for reputation, not for the good of others, nor for my own advantage, but come from a sort of instinct, like that for eating and drinking.' Since most of his drawing expeditions include his wife, Valerie, there is always eating and drinking too! |
