Financial assistance to cover part of
the cost of the conference for attendees may be available from the
Keepers Preservation Education Fund. The first Keeper of the
National Register of Historic Places, William J. Murtagh, PhD,
established the fund in 1988. Fellowship grants in support of
educational activities related to the field of historic preservation
and architectural conservation are available. KPEF grants can range
from several hundred dollars to larger sums, awarded at the
discretion of the board of trustees. Fellowships are awarded on the
basis of both qualifications and need; applicants are encouraged to
augment KPEF grants with other grants or awards. Contact the
Conference Chair by June 15, at
apti2003@aol.com, or
information@apti.org
for guidelines and an application form. |
