Located an architecturally interesting 10 minute walk east of the Fairmont Royal York Hotel and situated in the heart of Toronto’s “old town” is St. Lawrence Hall (199 King Street East) - the location of the APTI College of Fellows Lecture and Reception. Built in 1845-50 and designed by Architect William Thomas, the hall is one of the Province’s finest nineteenth century civic buildings. An opening reception will include a short introduction on the architecture and history of the Old Town by Toronto Historian Stephen Otto. This will be followed by the main event, The College of Fellows lecturer

ADRIAN PHILLIPS will speak on THE NATURE OF CULTURE: an overview of the natural values of cultural landscape. We will conclude the evening with the INDUCTION OF NEW FELLOWS.
