Resources to help you plan your APTDenver2010 experience
If you haven’t explored the APT conference website yet, we’ve got plenty of resources to help you get the most out of your experience in Denver. you can decide which paper sessions you will attend by track, session, or papers presented. Check out the abstracts by clicking on the link for each session. Papers will be presented on Friday and Saturday, October 8 and 9.
You will want to take time to see some of the area’s treasures on one of the six field sessions. In addition to walking about architecturally-rich downtown Denver or Fort Collins, you can see restored structures in Rocky Mountain National Park, travel on a narrow gauge railroad in mining country or examine ice cores extracted from Antarctica, Greenland and North America.
Get your hands on soil, concrete or envelopes during one of the three workshops designed to give preservationists a hands-on, in-depth learning experience with industry experts.
This year’s Sustainability Symposium, presented in collaboration with the GSA and AIA HRC, it is designed to explore issues related to sustainability and the stewardship of existing buildings.
