 APT TC- Materials presents the next Materials Talks Webinar

This presentation will provide a general overview of the chemistry of common spray paints. Ulysses Jackson will review the constituents of spray paints and how they work to create color, gloss, and other aspects of appearance. Propulsion, stages of drying and curing, aging properties and agents of deterioration will also be discussed.

Presenter: Ulysses Jackson, Formulator and Supervisor of R&D, Golden Artist Colors, Inc.

Ulysses Jackson was trained as an artist and now works on the development of new artists’ paints, both oil and water-based acrylics. Through his role in the Golden Custom Lab he, and his team, are constantly working with artist and conservators to make their projects/dreams successful.

Materials Talks are scheduled for one hour with a presentation and discussion.
