Communiqué, APT's electronic newsletter, enables APT members to exchange preservation information, publicize their news and awards, share project experience with colleagues, post calls for papers, and submit preservation queries to the readership. Employers can recruit potential candidates by advertising positions available to APT's network of preservation specialists.
Each issue of the Communiqué includes a feature article that focuses on recent news-worthy events or provides a preview or wrap-up of APT's annual conference. The Communiqué also lists upcoming events and training workshops, APT chapter news, grants, and employment opportunities, as well as the Resource Roundup, a compilation of resources--online and print--to aid APT members with their own projects.
News and articles may be submitted to the Communiqué at APT News. Communiqué is published six times each year, in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Submissions for the January issue are due December 1; those for the March issue, February 1; for the May issue, April 1; for the July issue, June 1; for the September issue, August 1; and for the November issue, October 1.
