Introducing the 2026 APT PETC Student Design-Build Competition Timber Bridge Specifications

Join us for an exciting session introducing the 2026 APT PETC Student Design-Build Competition—the 11th year of inspiring innovation and collaboration! This year’s challenge focuses on Timber Bridge Specifications, and we’re eager to see a strong turnout from schools across the world.

This information session is open to all students, faculty, potential mentors, and APT members. This includes colleges and universities as well as formal and informal trades programs. It’s the perfect opportunity to:

  • Gain insights into the competition structure and goals.
  • Learn why you or your students or friends would want to participate
  • Review the draft specifications for the timber bridge challenge.
  • Explore frequently asked questions.
  • Engage in an extended Q&A session with PETC leaders.

Whether you’re a returning participant or new to the competition, this session will help you prepare and connect with the preservation engineering community.
