Historic Bridge Foundation & APT Present  Workshop on Historic Bridges
March 20, 2020   *   McLean, VA

The workshop will cover the approaches to evaluation and preservation of historic bridges, including presentations with integrated case studies. Specific topics will include bridge assessment techniques, repair approaches, corrosion mitigation, and protection.



APT Stained Glass Symposium
May 15-16, 2020

The symposium will focus on the conservation of stained glass, and specifically, how the proper use of environmental protective glazing can greatly enhance all conservation efforts. We will offer a full day of papers on Friday and a walking tour in mid-town Manhattan on Saturday morning, visiting a number of conservation and environmental protective glazing installations. The Symposium will be held at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, New York, NY. 



American Academy in Rome Fellowship

The Association for Preservation Technology International (APT) is honored to announce an affiliation with the American Academy in Rome (AAR). This affiliation allows APT to offer a 4-week fellowship designed to allow a seasoned professional to research a topic that advances the mission of APT and directly impacts the field of historic preservation.
