Category: APT Chapter Event

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting presentation proposals for our annual symposium! This year's theme is Sacred Spaces: Preservation, Conservation, and Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Structures and Sites.  Presentation proposals should be centered around work done at a current or former sacred structure which may include but are not limited to churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, burial grounds, and other spaces considered sacred to its patrons and adherents.  The symposium will be held on Friday September 16th.

Proposals for presentations ranging from 20-40 minutes will be accepted. We are also excited to announce that we will be hosting a student poster session, giving students and recent graduates an opportunity to share work related to this year's theme. The full call for presentations and student posters is available on the website's symposium page. The submission deadline is July 20, 2022.  Notification of accepted submissions will be sent by August 5th.  We look forward to receiving your presentation and poster abstracts!
